How to Choose a Raw Dawg Blend: Start With the Protein

Three Raw Dawg frozen raw dog food chubs labeled Beef & Green Tripe, Turkey Salmon, and Pasture-Raised Turkey.

Choosing a Raw Dawg blend starts with the name on the label. Then check the protein, box size, and routine before it reaches your freezer.

Raw Dawg is built around three named formulas: Beef & Green Tripe, Pasture-Raised Turkey, and Turkey & Salmon. The Variety Blend brings available formulas together in one mixed box.

This guide explains the lineup. It does not diagnose a food sensitivity, select a diet for a medical condition, or predict how an individual dog will respond. If your dog has an allergy, digestive condition, nutrient-sensitive condition, or another medical concern, make the choice with your veterinarian.

Instinct Blend: Beef & Green Tripe

Choose this page when you want the beef formula named on the package as Beef & Green Tripe. Read the current ingredient list and available Protein Mix options before ordering. Do not assume every size has the same combination.

Ancestral Blend: Pasture-Raised Turkey

Choose this page when you want the formula named Pasture-Raised Turkey. Confirm the current ingredient list, package, size, and Protein Mix selection before it goes into the cart.

Wild Blend: Turkey & Salmon

Choose this page when you want the formula that combines turkey and salmon. It is a multi-protein formula. Read the current package and product page rather than treating it as a single-protein choice.

Variety Blend: Mixed Proteins

Choose this page when you want available formulas combined in one box. The product selector controls the current mix and size. Confirm both before ordering.

Choose the box your freezer can hold

Raw Dawg currently shows 8 lb, 16 lb, and 30 lb options across the lineup. Availability and Protein Mix combinations can change by product and size. Use the live selector, then make sure the selected box fits the freezer space you actually have.

Five questions before Add to Cart

  1. Did I choose the formula name I intended?
  2. Did I check whether the selected option contains one formula or more than one?
  3. Did I read the current ingredient list and package directions?
  4. Does the selected box fit my freezer and routine?
  5. Does my dog's health or feeding history call for veterinary guidance first?

A label-first choice is enough

A blend guide should make the decision clearer, not turn it into a guarantee. Name the protein route. Check the current package. Confirm the box. Keep the question specific.
