Feeding Guidelines
Amount per day, at 2.5% of body weight:
- 10 lb — 4 oz
- 20 lb — 8 oz
- 40 lb — 16 oz
- 60 lb — 24 oz
- 80 lb — 32 oz
- 100 lb — 40 oz
Feed 2 to 3% of your dog's body weight daily, depending on weight goals. For puppies, nursing mothers, and high-activity dogs, feed 4 to 5% of body weight. For intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
Safe Handling
Keep frozen. Thaw in the fridge before serving and use within four days after thawing. Do not cook. Not for human consumption. Handle like raw meat. Shelf life: 1 year frozen, 4 days refrigerated. Sold as 2 lb (32 oz / 907 g) chubs.
Feeding One Blend?
Here's How to Round It Out. Our blends are built to work together. Beef, Turkey, and Turkey & Salmon each bring something different, and rotating between them is how nature balances the bowl: different proteins, different organs, different nutrients over time.
But not every dog rotates. Maybe yours has a favorite, or a sensitivity that keeps you on one protein. That's fine. Here's what we'd add to beef to fill the gaps a single protein leaves behind.
Beef is our most mineral-dense blend, rich in iron and zinc. What it doesn't bring is the sea.
- Sardines or mackerel: vitamin D and omega-3s
- Green-lipped mussel: manganese and natural joint support
- A pinch of kelp: iodine
If you only add one thing, make it mussel. It works with every blend. Introduce new toppers slowly, and check with your vet if your dog has health conditions or special dietary needs.
