Raw feeding offers a minimally processed format with clearly identified animal ingredients and natural moisture. It is a feeding preference, not a guaranteed health outcome or treatment.

The routine requires freezer space and raw-meat handling, but the steps are simple: keep it frozen, thaw what you need in the refrigerator, portion, serve, and clean up.

Transition gradually over about 10 days. Start with roughly 25% Raw Dawg, move to 50%, then 75%, before serving a full portion. Slow down and stay at a step longer if your dog needs more time.

Yes, if it fits your dog's feeding plan. Raw Dawg can be introduced as part of the bowl or used as a topper. Make changes gradually and consider the total diet rather than any one meal.

Stool, appetite, and water intake can change during a diet transition. Slow the transition if needed, keep fresh water available, and contact your veterinarian if vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or other concerning symptoms continue.

Do not assume persistent symptoms are detox. Mild stool changes can happen during a food transition, but ongoing vomiting, diarrhea, skin flares, ear issues, or lethargy deserve veterinary guidance.

Raw food is not an allergy treatment. Clearly named proteins can make ingredient selection easier to follow, but suspected food or environmental allergies should be evaluated with your veterinarian.

Raw meat can carry pathogens, and freezing does not make it sterile. Keep Raw Dawg frozen, thaw it in the refrigerator, wash hands and surfaces, clean bowls after feeding, and do not feed product that may have lost refrigeration.

Raw food contains moisture, so some dogs' drinking patterns change. Always keep fresh water available and contact your veterinarian if a sudden change comes with other symptoms.

Raw feeding does not train aggression. Behavior is shaped by many factors, and new or concerning behavior should be discussed with your veterinarian or a qualified trainer.

Raw Dawg blends contain ground edible bone. Do not cook the product or feed cooked bones. Whole bones and other chews are separate choices that require appropriate sizing, supervision, and veterinary guidance.

Raw Dawg formulas are currently built for adult dogs. Growing puppies need a diet appropriate for growth, including the right calorie and calcium-to-phosphorus balance. Work with your veterinarian or a veterinary nutritionist before feeding raw to a puppy.

These dogs have specialized nutritional or safety needs. Confirm whether raw feeding is appropriate with your veterinarian before changing the diet.

Dogs with IBD, pancreatitis, chronic digestive conditions, current medications, or other medical concerns should have a veterinarian guide any diet change. Raw Dawg is food, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Age alone does not determine suitability. Consider your dog's overall health, body condition, medications, chewing ability, and nutritional needs with your veterinarian.

Blends, box sizes, ingredients, storage, and what the label means.

Choose Beef & Green Tripe, Pasture-Raised Turkey, or Turkey & Salmon based on proteins your dog already tolerates. Choose Mixed Proteins when you want to sample or rotate blends.

Single-protein choices keep the box focused on one blend. The 50/50 and Variety options let you sample or rotate blends inside one box. Available combinations update with the selected product and box size.

Each blend uses named muscle meat, edible bone, and organs, with green tripe and connective tissue in the Beef blend and salmon in the Turkey & Salmon blend. See the Whole Prey Formula page and current product label for the exact recipe.

Raw Dawg uses a 75 / 10 / 10 / 5 framework: muscle meat, edible bone, organ, and Instinct Boost. It keeps the structure of the bowl animal-first and easy to understand.

Instinct Boost is the animal-based functional layer in the formula. Depending on the blend, it can include green tripe, connective tissue, and other whole-animal components. The current product label is the final authority.

Raw Dawg is sold frozen and intended to be served raw, with named animal ingredients and a whole-prey framework. It is a food-format choice, not a promise of a particular health result.

Choose 8 lb to trial a blend or work with limited freezer space, 16 lb for a regular routine, and 30 lb for larger feeding needs or stocked freezers. How long a box lasts depends on your dog's portion.

Feeding needs vary by weight, age, activity, and body condition. Use the Raw Fit guide as a starting point, then divide the selected box size by your dog's daily amount to estimate how long it will last.

Every dog is different. Start gradually and choose a protein your dog already tolerates. Appetite and acceptance cannot be guaranteed, but an 8 lb box is a practical place to start.

No. Raw Dawg is intended to be served raw, and cooking a blend that contains bone is not recommended.

Keep it frozen, thaw what you need in the refrigerator, and use thawed food within 3-4 days unless the package says otherwise. Wash hands, bowls, utensils, and surfaces after handling. Do not leave uneaten portions sitting out.

AAFCO does not approve or certify pet foods. Raw Dawg is not currently marketed as complete and balanced. Unless a specific product label states otherwise, use it as a topper or supplemental feeding option and ask your veterinarian how it fits into your dog's complete feeding plan.

No. Raw Dawg does not use HPP. The food remains raw and frozen, which does not make it sterile, so the raw-meat handling instructions still apply.

Raw Dawg is made in an inspected facility under a food-safety plan and shipped frozen. Raw food is not sterile. Keep it frozen, thaw in the refrigerator, prevent cross-contamination, and follow the current package and handling directions.

Raw Dawg does not use a synthetic vitamin-and-mineral premix. The ingredients supply naturally occurring nutrients, but that does not change the product's current supplemental-feeding status.

Serve it as packaged. Toppers and supplements change the overall diet, so discuss regular additions and the rest of your dog's feeding plan with your veterinarian.

Not every ingredient is certified organic, and Raw Dawg does not make a blanket organic claim. Check the current product label and ingredient page for product-specific information.

Delivery, subscriptions, refunds, privacy, and getting help.

Enter your delivery address at checkout to confirm current availability, eligible carrier services, and rates. Delivery coverage can change as Raw Dawg expands.

One-time orders use the eligible shipping charge shown at checkout. Subscription orders in carrier Zones 1-4 use $9.95 flat-rate shipping. For Zones 5 and above, Raw Dawg pays 50% of the eligible shipping charge and the customer pays the remaining 50%. The checkout total controls.

Raw Dawg ships frozen using the eligible service shown at checkout. Retrieve the delivery promptly, inspect the box, and move appropriately cold product to your freezer.

Do not feed product that may have lost refrigeration. Keep the packaging, take photos of the package and shipping label, and email hello@myrawdawg.com within 24 hours after delivery. See the Shipping Policy for current details.

The guarantee applies to a customer's first Raw Dawg order of one box or less, including the first box of a new subscription. Email hello@myrawdawg.com within seven calendar days after delivery. Limit one guarantee per household. If approved, the product purchase price is refunded; ordinary shipping charges are not. See the Refund Policy.

Because frozen raw food is perishable, do not ship or return it. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact Raw Dawg as soon as possible; changes are not guaranteed after fulfillment begins. Refund and replacement eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy.

Select Subscribe & Save on the product page, then choose an available delivery interval. The current savings, price, and cadence appear before you add the box to cart. You may pause, skip, or cancel before the next order is processed without a cancellation fee.
