Big Kibble builds food for margins and warehouses, then calls the fallout "aging." Chronic itching, bad guts, low energy, all normalized. That's not normal. Raw Dawg makes food dogs are built to thrive on, not tolerate. Even the name refuses to be sanitized: raw, unfiltered, unprocessed. Just like the food.
The Dog Who Started It All
It started with one sick dog named Bo.
Bojangles got sick, and we did everything by the book. Vet visits. Prescription food. Meds. Trust the label. He only got worse. So we stopped following the script and looked closer, and what we were feeding him wasn't food his body knew what to do with. We stripped it all back to raw. Within weeks the difference was impossible to miss: his coat filled back in, his energy came back, his gut settled, his eyes brightened. Raw Dawg didn't start as a company. It started in our kitchen, trying to save one dog. That turned into a mission for all of them.
The Ancestral Blueprint
Every part of your dog was built to eat raw.
Dogs are built like what they came from. Acidic stomachs, short fast guts, jaws that tear and crush. Every part of them points to raw. In the 1920s, kibble showed up, cheap, shelf-stable, easy to mass-produce. It solved a factory problem, not a biological one. Cooking strips the nutrients dogs rely on. Raw delivers them. We just follow the original blueprint. No grains, no fillers, no compromises.
